Jiahu flutes are musical instruments that archaeologists found in Jiahu in Henan Province, China. There were 30 flutes in the site which date to 9,000 years ago. Prehistoric men made them from bird bones. They have 5 or 8 holes. At the time of the discovery, one of them was still playable.
